Former Sergeant Mick Brennan, 34, was injured in a suicide bomb attack in November 2004 while serving in Iraq with the Royal Signals.

A BPA Paralympic Inspiration Programme Athlete, a Help for Heroes Band of Brother and a wounded soldier, 29 year-old Lance Corporal Tyler Christopher, who serves with 4 Rifles, was injured by an IED in Afghanistan in 2009.
As a result of the blast he had to have both legs amputated above the knee, as well as nearly losing his arm and suffering abdominal injuries.
While undergoing his rehabilitation, Tyler was introduced to the Sport of Sledge Hockey through the Help for Heroes Sports Recovery programme and he hasn't looked back since.
He has played for the Help for Heroes Battle Back Bisons, Peterborough Phantom and is also a valued member of the GB Team. Tyler hopes to help the GB Sledge Hockey Team qualify for the 2018 Paralympic Games, and would be honoured to be part of the team should they represent their country at a Paralympic Games

Stuart served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) until in 2013 his life changed forever. He was caught up in an explosion in Afghanistan, losing his lower left leg immediately in the blast, and later had to have his shattered right leg amputated too.
